ABOUT FRANCESCA

A designer that combines two cultures: Her Italian creativity and German organization. She inherited bilingualism and a passion
for interior from her family’s office fittings business.

Based in Amsterdam, she developes unique surfaces
for rugs, wallpapers, textiles & tiles.

As a Junior Art Director for Ogilvy & Mather she discovered her love for textiles, leading her to graduate as a Textile Design Engineer.

In 2008 she started as a Design Assistant for the textile legend Ulf Moritz. Encouraged by her mentor, she collaborated with Mulberry in India, developing decors for European textile editors, showcased at high-profile fairs.

Since 2018 she has worked for Marcel Wanders studio pioneering in surface pattern design, and becoming the in-house Sustainability Advisor, after qualifying in Sustainability Management at the University of Cambridge.

Followed by an engagment as Tile Designer for Villeroy&Boch  and a collaboration
with YO2 for a yearly collection of wallpaper and rugs.

For the Fuorisalone ‘024 in Milan, she started a collaboration with MONDiLAB.
